Your scripts
Scripts, rehearsal history, and reading positions are stored locally inside GlideCue’s sandbox container on your Mac. SynapseCore does not receive or have access to this content. If you export a script, macOS lets you choose where that exported text file is saved.
Microphone and speech recognition
Voice-follow uses Apple’s Speech Recognition framework to compare what you say with the script currently open in GlideCue. GlideCue processes recognition results in real time and does not make or retain an audio recording.
When the offline Dictation model for the script’s language is installed, recognition runs on your Mac. If an offline model is unavailable, Apple’s speech service may process microphone audio. GlideCue shows an in-app notice before using server-based recognition and explains how to install an offline model in System Settings.
Data collection and tracking
GlideCue contains no developer-operated backend, user accounts, analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. SynapseCore does not collect product usage data through the app.
Website
This website uses no analytics, advertising trackers, contact forms, or marketing cookies. It is delivered through Firebase Hosting, whose infrastructure may process standard network information such as an IP address to securely deliver the site and prevent abuse. Email you send to support is handled by our email provider and used to respond to your request.
Changes to this policy
If GlideCue’s data practices change, this page will be updated before the change ships. The effective date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
