Scope
This policy covers Worry Later for iPhone and the Worry Later pages on synapsecore.ai. Worry Later is a self-awareness tool, not a medical service, diagnostic system, treatment, emergency resource, or substitute for a qualified professional.
Your worries
A worry can include an identifier, creation date, optional occurrence date, your original words, felt weight from 0 to 10, two optional revisit answers, an optional note, and a revisit date. These fields are stored in the app’s local database. There is no SynapseCore account or app-controlled cloud sync.
Optional private Patterns
Patterns become available only after 10 revisited worries, a qualifying annual or lifetime purchase, and your explicit consent.
Only these fields from revisited worries are used:
- the original worry;
- the effective date;
- felt weight;
- whether there was something you could do or it was a what-if;
- whether worrying gave you a next step or kept you circling.
How Patterns are found
Worry Later uses Apple language technology on the device to compare revisited worries and group only clear matches. If richer on-device language support is unavailable, local word matching is used. A pattern needs at least two worries, and uncertain worries remain separate.
Optional on-device wording
On eligible devices, Apple’s on-device language model may refine a short neutral pattern name and phrase one factual observation from totals the app already calculated. Generated wording is checked for length, evidence, and prohibited advice, diagnosis, causality, questions, and predictions. If the feature is unavailable, refuses, times out, or fails validation, Worry Later keeps deterministic wording.
Worry Later does not use Private Cloud Compute, third-party models, a developer server, or other cloud inference. Worry text, prompts, generated text, and corrections are not printed to developer logs.
Apple asset downloads
iOS may download Apple language assets required for supported on-device features. Apple controls and delivers those downloads. Worry Later does not send your worry content to SynapseCore as part of an asset download.
Derived data and corrections
Worry Later can cache pattern names, one observation, member identifiers, evidence totals, capability state, and timestamps. It can also store your pattern renames and choices to mark worries as unrelated. When an analyzed worry changes, the relevant cache and correction are updated or removed.
Your controls
- Decline first-use consent and keep using the free app without Patterns.
- Pause or turn Patterns back on in Settings.
- Refresh Patterns manually.
- Reset pattern renames and unrelated-worry corrections.
- Turn off and delete Patterns while keeping your original worries.
Losing a paid entitlement hides Patterns and stops analysis but does not delete local derived data. The explicit deletion control removes it.
Backups and device protection
Worry Later uses Apple’s complete file-protection class for app data. Worries and local Pattern data may be included in your normal encrypted iPhone backup according to your Apple backup settings. SynapseCore cannot access or restore that backup.
CSV export
A CSV export contains original worry fields. It never contains cached Patterns, semantic vectors, generated wording, pattern membership, renames, or unrelated-worry corrections. After export, the file is controlled by the destination you choose in Apple’s share interface.
Purchases
Annual and lifetime Patterns purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Worry Later reads Apple-signed entitlement state and keeps a protected local entitlement cache. SynapseCore does not operate a purchase, account, or receipt server.
Collection, analytics, and tracking
Worry Later contains no developer-operated backend, behavioral analytics, advertising SDK, or cross-app tracking. SynapseCore does not collect worries, notes, Pattern data, corrections, usage events, device identifiers, or diagnostics through the app. Information processed only on the device is not collected by SynapseCore.
Website and support email
This website uses no analytics, advertising trackers, contact forms, or marketing cookies. It is delivered through Firebase Hosting, whose infrastructure may process standard network information such as an IP address to securely deliver the site and prevent abuse.
Email sent to support is handled by our email provider only to respond to and document your request. Do not include private worries unless necessary. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed for support or legal obligations; you may request deletion.
Changes
This page describes a pre-release product. It will be reviewed against the shipping app before App Store submission. If data practices change, this policy and App Store privacy answers will be updated before the change ships.
